While driving down Cedar Lane in Shepherdstown West Virginia, Carol pointed out a unique visual of this barn at the end of a driveway. I thought it was cool also.

618_The Rescue N0.1
A mother squirrel returns from food gathering and realizes that her nest with three babies is no longer in a tree where she left them. We were trimming this tree to provide more sunlight for our solar panels. A West Virginia tree climber finds the babies and delicately brings them to Carol and me. We decided to lay them near a rock and out of the sun along the Potomac River in hopes that the mother might find them. An hour later, she was there. This is one image from a series called "The Rescue," reflecting that story as she comes back for each baby and disappears into the woods. A happy ending!
