I live directly across from the C&O Canal (150 feet) at MM 85.2. About 5 minutes from Big Slack Water Boat Ramp. Throughout the day and the seasons there are multitudes of different colors and shades reflected against the natural landscape. As I am taking a shot of a West Virginia tree at the Potomac River across from the C & O Canal at Big Slack Water, the foreground light against the tree seem to melt into the Maryland reflection off the Potomac River.
